PLAYING FIELD / PLAY AREA

A petition organised by children in the village and signed by residents was sent to Tynedale Council by Prudhoe Town Council. This asked for improvements to the play facilities and improvements to the area of the sports field.

It was accompanied by an illustrated report outlining the requested changes, and highlighting issues such as dog fouling etc.

Following this report and a meeting with the children, some improvemnts have already taken place. These have included a new seat, minor improvements to the play facilities, more regular emptying of dog bins and tidying of the surrounding area.

Funding for new play facilities in the near future have been promised by Tynedale Council.
