Bus Stops and Shelters / Seats

Following a review of bus stops and shelters a number of improvements have taken place. These have included replacement of panes, repainting, removing overgrown vegetation etc. New bus stop signs and timetables have been provided.

The need for a new shelter on the north side of the road (for buses to Hexham) has been identified. Possible locations have been looked at. It is hoped to approve a location near to the Jiggery Pokery in the near future.

A review of seats across Prudhoe has taken place. Many of the seats are old and in poor condition. A program of repair, replacement and maintenance has been put in place.

Should the seats be repaired or replaced or could the money be better spent elsewhere? Do you make use of the seats?
